Slow Cooked Lamb Shanks

Who doesn’t love slow cooked lamb shanks ?

They are so simple and so delicious.

This Feeds 2

2 Lamb Shanks

1 Packet of French Onion Soup -Dried Soup Mix

1 tbls Tomato Paste

1 tbls Worcestershire Sauce

2 tsp Soy Sauce

Cornflour to thicken

1. Place all ingredients in a slow cooker and add water so that shanks are just covered. Cook on low for 8hrs turning lamb shanks occasionally.

2. Remove shanks from slow cooker.

3. In a cup place 1 tbls of Cornflour and add a small amount of water, mix until a paste consistency. Add to liquid in slow cooker to make a thicker gravy.

Serve on a bed of mash potato.

You can add mushrooms to slow cooker for a slightly different taste.
