Cheese & Onion Omelette

Cheese and Onion Omelette

This is a very simple cheese omelette that is surprisingly yummy. Great for that special weekend breakfast, a light lunch or a quick and easy dinner.

Serves 1

2 Eggs Whisked

1/2 Cup Tasty Cheese Grated

1/4 Red Onion Sliced Finely

2 tsp Chives Chopped

Knob of Butter

  1. Cook onion until soft and browning in a small frying pan
  2. Remove onion from pan
  3. Melt knob of butter in pan then add egg and swirl around pan to cover base
  4. Sprinkle remaining ingredients evenly over half of the egg
  5. Cook until egg is mostly cooked through
  6. Fold in half and cook until lightly brown
